"My recent work is happe­ning on two trails - one, is digital explo­ra­tion in search for meta­phors of feeling - The Land of Bearing Shapes. The second is based on tradi­ti­onal pain­ting tech­ni­ques, where crea­tion itself is way more spon­ta­nous. The Land of Bearing Shapes is neither enti­rely ficti­onal nor real. This work is a sample of one kind of digital world, with its laws and rules taken from the 3d world. Its construc­tion however is based on my personal obser­va­tions of matter, emotions, beha­viors and inter­per­sonal games. I would like to spend the time of a resi­dency on inves­ti­ga­ting. Bearing Shapes water­color. Namely, possible inter­sec­tion between generic, native to digital imagery and abstract water­co­lors. The process would involve analysis of moving human forms, flowing paint and possible symbolic meaning of both. In addi­tion to the project, I would like to conduct water­color work­shops for commu­nity.”

Agnieszka Zagraba ist eine polni­sche Künstlerin und Desi­g­nerin mit Fokus auf Digital Arts und New Media. Nach einem Indus­trie­de­sign-Studium in Krakau (2015–2019) studierte sie Digi­tale Kunst an der Universität für ange­wandte Kunst Wien (2019–2024). In ihrer Praxis verbindet sie digi­tale Tech­no­lo­gien, speku­la­tives Design und visu­elle Kommu­ni­ka­tion. Sie verfügt über breite Kennt­nisse in Game Engines, 3D-Model­lie­rung, Grafik- und Video­be­a­r­bei­tung sowie Program­mie­rung. Berufs­er­fah­rung sammelte sie u. a. bei Cool­play Wien und Bajo Polen. Ihre Arbeiten wurden inter­na­ti­onal gezeigt, u. a. beim Ange­wandte Festival, Sonar Barce­lona und der London Design Bien­nale.
