We are now accepting applic­a­tions for our 2027 Artist-in-Resid­ence Programme.

Open Call Artist in Resid­ence 2027

The Villa Sonnen­berg Found­a­tion invites profes­sional artists from the fields of visual arts and music to apply for a three-month resid­ency in 2027.

Only indi­vidual applic­a­tions will be considered. Applic­a­tions from artist duos or collect­ives cannot be accepted.

For each resid­ency period, the found­a­tion selects one artist. The chosen indi­vidual will there­fore be the sole artist in resid­ence at Villa Sonnen­berg for the dura­tion of their stay. Please take note of the required applic­a­tion mater­ials.

Submit your project proposal on the annual theme «Myths» no later than Juni 07, 2026.
